1/22/10......... Mark this date down because this was the Date were the World watched as we found Hope for Haiti. Hope for Haiti now was a Two hour long Telethon run by George Clooney. Over a Hundred of Celebrity's joined this Telethon. Performances by amazing Musical Artist and Stories by many Actors and Former Presidents made this one of the most Memorable acts of helping a country in need. The first performance was by Alicia keys then went Coldplay also other performances by Stevie wonder, John Legend, Shakira, Rhianna, Beyonce, Jay Z, And many many more.
Once you called to donate your phone call was picked up by a famous person. For example Selena Gomez, Julia Roberts, Halle Berry, Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon and so much more! this is a moment were we as the people of the wold have to help each other. We as children of the world also have to know that this is our time to say "Hope is on the way just have faith. Your not Alone". This is just one of the many things we need to do to help The Haitian people and Haiti it self. But this was one step but a major step indeed.
