Just when were seeing development in Haiti, Today 2/27/2010 a 8.8 earthquake struck the country of Chile. Already hundreds are dead and thousands or even millions are left homeless. Hawaii, Washington, And Alaska had issued tsunami warnings. This brought panic to people outside of Chile and Hawaii because people really believe this is the end of the world. Let me just say that the world will not end. If we keep on fighting in wars and hating each other were going to kill ourselves. According to NYtimes.com The Minister of the Interior, Edmundo Pérez Yoma, said that at least 214 people had died, according to local news reports and wire services. The death toll was expected to rise, particularly around Concepción, Chile’s second-largest metropolitan area, which is roughly 70 miles from the quake’s center. My Heart is with you Chile, This day will always be remembered.
