A real NYtimes newspaper article about the disaster 98 years ago, New Yorkers got the news a few days later

Tonight

98 years ago today we remember, TODAY we not only remember the disaster but yet the amazing passengers that lost there lives on this day and the next, 98 years ago. The lesson i always learn on this day is to always love everything and everyone. Those hopeless people lost there lives in an instant in search for better lives and yet thousands died including children as young as one year old or even younger!

The message for this year is to never forget and always remember because if we forget we will forget a story that can always be told and it will never get old. I love Titanic so much!!! that i just can't believe its been 98 years already. May all the amazing passengers of the RMS Titanic live forever and we will never forget the night were history took its course.... April 14th, 1912

Promo Pics for "Remember Titanic" week

These are promo pics to promote "Remember Titanic" week, You can save it and spread it around also, Everyone needs to be informed.

One of my favorite Passengers

We are just in the start of "Remember Titanic" week but i already have to show you one of my favorite and most memorable passengers on the
RMS Titanic, Margaret "Molly" Brown. Her heroic acts were amazing and her way of saving others then herself is amazing, Molly survived but made sure that everyone was in the lifeboats and also wanted to return to save more people once the ship sank four days from now. But there were many people like this on the ship but what makes molly stick out like a sore thumb is that she was very wealthy, She could have just got in the lifeboat and worry about her own business. But no! she wanted to risk her life in the middle in the North Atlantic Ocean to save others. I'm glad to start of this week by saluting her and other amazing passengers of the ship that we will always love. They leave a footprint in history and they will never be forgotten... They are remembered!

On this day..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Today, April 10th 2010 marks the 98th anniversary of the start of the Titanic Voyage. This is the official start of "Remember Titanic" Week! there will be nonstop coverage of everything Titanic! from real Titanic pics, to how Titanic is still around today. But on this day The vessel began her maiden voyage from the wonderful Southampton, England, bound for NYC on the 10th of April in the year 1912, But then an incident delayed departure for about half-an-hour, The incident took place when the Titanic almost had a collision with the SS New York. It was an event that all of the passengers will never remember and a rocky start to the beginning of the maiden voyage for the Titanic. We all remember this day because it was the day were the Titanic defined history and the day that started a whole new chapter in all the lives of the passengers. I will remember this day as a day were the world was more advance in technology and also the birth of a legend.
