On Monday there was a great success in the air, the Trail of Khalid shaik mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, was moved from a courtroom in lower Manhattan to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. I
n my opinion this man even stepping foot in lower Manhattan is wrong. The decision to move the trial was a major reversal for the Obama administration, which erupted a battle to have the trail in Manhattan. Mr. Bloomberg had initially supported the idea of holding the trials in the united states, he called it “fitting” that justice would be served near the World Trade Center, where over 3,000 people were killed.
Mayor Bloomberg even proposed to pay for security to have the trail take place in New York, Really?. spending important money on this man? the man who took part in one of the worst disasters of our time?, but thank god he changed his mind knowing this whole operation would cost the city over 1 billion dollars.
The best alternative is to keep his ass in Cuba were he can be away from all of us. We all witnessed this horrific event but imagine losing someone on that unimaginable day! family's of the lost ones rejoice today because in my opinion having this man in New York is a fucking privilege! now i believe in second chances but having the blood of 3,000 in your hands accounts for jail time.... And lots of it
